Last night, Bath hosted its annual ‘Party in the City‘ – a night of music and arts in multiple venues across the city. Even if you stayed for 10 seconds in each event, you probably still wouldn’t be able to see everything.
I was supposed to be singing with THE Bath Chorus* in the Abbey, but I lost my voice 😦
Instead I wandered around and watched some of the other acts and took some photos.
There was a samba band in the Circus
Morris dancers, mummers and some ghostly I-have-no-idea-what-they-were-but-they-were-very-funny-all-the-same-s outside the Abbey
And a giant Turbo Disco Turtle, because why the hell not?
My personal highlight of the night was Sam Evans, whose band played in the Boater. They were jazzy, bluesy, folksy, and crazy good singers, playing a variety of different covers along with some of their own songs.
